The Mississauga Quilters Guild
encourages an interest in and an appreciation of quilting among its members and within the community. Through the sharing of experience, fellowship and education, we increase quilting skills and foster the talents of members. The guild benefits organizations, individuals and groups in Mississauga through outreach activities, and the donation of quilts and other related items.

Refreshments

About midpoint in the meeting we break for refreshments. Bring a mug for your drink. Goodies are donated by the members. Our newsletter indicates when it is your turn to bring goodies.

Program and Workshops
The Guild offers workshops and special programs outside the monthly meetings for all skill levels. Visit the workshops sign-up table to find out what is being offered.

Block of the Month

At each monthly guild meeting, the Block of the Month table offers a pattern, some fabric, and instructions to complete a quilt block to be returned at the next guild meeting. You are then eligible to enter a draw to win a set of the completed blocks to make a quilt! All this for only $1.00!!

To even add more excitement, if you win the blocks and bring your quilt top completed to a guild meeting’s Show and
Tell, you will receive that month’s kit free!

Volunteers

Without volunteers this Guild would not exist. Volunteers bring baked goods to meetings, quilt on Guild projects at community functions, organize and run our biannual Quilt Show, work as coordinators, and help with charity work. Volunteering is a good way to learn how the Guild works and what it has to offer you. Please get involved with Guild.
